The popular belief seems to be that to have a chance of winning the brownlow, you have to be playing for a successful team to get the maggot's to notice you.

So should we consider these odds an ADMISSION??? :shock:

Or are the maggots just too one eyed these days? I had a multi bet on the Brownlow trying to get the leading vote getter at each club. Watching the count I was amazed at how often one club would clean sweep the votes...even when the games were tight. I think through the 80's and 90's the losing club would still poll either the 1 or 2 votes a lot more often than was the case this season. Whether thats by direct instruction or not who knows?

Interesting that Stevens is at $41. Obviously the bookies expect him to have a big year now he's not getting the best tagger every week.
