Ch 7 reported this and I jumped on to find out what it was about? appendicitis or something mentioned?

yep apparently he was rushed to epworth hospital and it is thought that he has appendicitis. could be out of action for upto 6 weeks (i'm not sure about the severity of eddie's but i've had a couple of friends get appendicitis one came back to play footy in 2 weeks and i think the other might have been 3).

If you going to pick a time to be out of action for a few weeks nows the time to do it. I hope Eddie gets well soon but other than that its no big deal.

Yep, there's no better time to suffer from appendicitis than now.

I hope he isn't fed too much whilst in hospital...I'm not a huge Eddie fan, because he's let himself down a few times (I know he's still a kid), but I can't help feel that he's going to show his class in 2008.

I saw Eddie Betts, Joe Anderson, and Clint Benjamin in the car park of Barkly Square (Brunswick) this arvo. Eddie looked ok to me. He is actually as short as he looks.
