driving past Princes Park - no reason, just that I can and who knows... Judd might walk past. daydreaming - and in these daydreams we win, Fev bags a heap. Judd streams out of the middle - hell last night Gibbs kicked 4 in the first quarter! remembering - it starts with 68 and moves through the glorious 70's and 80's....and then I see Judd streaming out of the middle and I find myself driving... smiling - its an expectant smile. You know what I mean. Hating cricket, summer, surf, holidays, christmas, anything and everything that stops tomorrow being about a game of footy! singing - daggy songs, old old songs from childhood, sung wiith gusto, sort of you know singing in the rain...sunny side of the street... yellow submarine...clicking heels stuff! enjoying - every second of everyday because that bribngs us one day closer.... I want the first bounce! I understand how it must have been with the ice finally started to melt. roll on 2008! |
