What do we think about this (ie: Judd + Stevens)?

I am not one for breaking with tradition, and I have despised the extended leadership group concept, but for some odd reason I don't mind having 2 Captains, in this case Judd + Stevens.

But then I think to myself "Nah, I like having one Captain, like Sticks was, and Fitzy was etc".

don't need joint captains - Stephens will be a great leader presuming he gets the nod - lets just let CJ get in, get his body right and play some great footy!

No extra pressure - maybe next year or the year after.

He probably doesn't even want it this year (Judd)

call me old fashioned, but i like one captain and one vice captain.

i really don't think Judd should be captain yet though, for the same reasons as bluey

But Caro says Stevens doesn't deserve it, because he used to like a drink.

Looks like no official decision on the captaincy will be announced before the start of next season...

Judd no walk-in for captaincy: Ratten

Quote:
ANY SUGGESTION Carlton's boom recruit Chris Judd was a walk-up start for the club's captaincy has been scuttled, with coach Brett Ratten officially delaying a decision on who will lead the Blues until the start of next season...

Judd will be captain.
he doesnt want to come to the club and just take over.

The players will vote Judd captain.

I agree with Synbad...

bad look for Judd to publicly put up his hand when he's only just arrived. But the players will want him to have it (Fev, Gibbs, and Murph would probably give it to him already!), and the Match Committee will want him to have it. In the end, I reckon it will be a no-brainer. He's just got to do some time on the track first so that nobody thinks he's been given an armchair ride or anything.
