Good to see the club aiming to take the lead in off field practices as well.

We would be the first club in the AFL to do something like this too!

Good for us!

Is Scotland in that recycling bin because he's a recycled player? Or is it just a happy coincidence?

What was the old saying? Blue and green should never be seen.

Good move by the club.

could a match worn guernsey that is, or incorprates, green on the cards, ala M&M's light blue in 1997?

This is the sort of thing which demonstrates to me that we are back. Remember when Essendon* started working closely with Aboriginal communities? Well that was about the stage (in my view) where we started falling behind Collingwood and Essendon* in terms of off-field initiatives. Being environmentally friendly won't hurt the brand one bit, and will help the Club to develop its image in a whole lot of ways. A really great initiative from the Board IMHO.

Green is the national colour of Ireland too.

It all fits.
