Quote: The Perth road trip is understood to be one of just four interstate matches the Blues will play next year. ![]() I can guarantee that means 2x Perth and 2x Adelaide, or 2x Perth 1x Adelaide 1x Brisbane. Once again, we miss out in Sydney. I'd love to be proved wrong. |

The blue's for a long time have only come here every second year - last year we played the roo's on the coast which gave us two goes (3 when you count the pre-season too). I wouldn't bet on Brisbane lions getting a god this year, the Roo's may however. |

Yes, and 2 Perth trips each year for the last 3 or four, from memory. There's a huge Sydney fan base up here. A regular presence would see that being translated into memberships, especially with exciting times ahead. It's also an important place to get a good regular presence, as currently the Filth and the Scum play every season up here. And don't get me started on the Ducks. |

Eagles game is a Friday night game. Easy viewing for all. Also mentioned we will play Collingwood and Essendon* early in the year, but nothing new there. 18 games in Melbourne - good times!!! |

FRIDAY! Seriously. Or, actually, we might see the draw, or highlights of it, on TC on Thursday evening if our usual contributors pop in for a chat. ![]() |

Make no mistake, getting Judd has made us the marquee team for FTA TV. 3.20 and JK is looking better every day. Am I mistaken or did we play the SCG in 2007. I hope we miss out on Freo to be honest. 4 games hopefully means we arent the bunnies that play the Roos at Carrara. That is a waste of time. |

The extent of our recovery will partly be measured by how many Friday night games we're allocated. Anymore than four and we're obviously back in favour with the broadcasters. |

4 interstate games? ![]() Holy crap! When was the last time THAT happened to us?????? It'd have to be Perth twice and Adelaide twice. Sydney and brisbane to play us once each down here. |

I can live with that for 2008, but 2 Adelaide and 2 Perth matches each and every year at the expense of Sydney (and Brisbane) fans is shithouse. |

We probably wont play the dockers away in 2008. It could be 1x Perth, 2x Adelaide, 1x Sydney. |

The Club requests each year to play two games in Perth for the Perth-based Carlton supporters, so unless the request has changed (which is possible, given the new administration) expect 2 games in Perth again. |

I'm not too fussed how it pans out.... but I do hope that the club gets another game in Sydney next year. There's a good support base there, and they missed out for quite a few seasons. Maybe we could only go to Adelaide once to play the Crows? As for Brisbane??? Well, I'm not sure that Verbs, Blue Dog, House, and I have recovered from watching the 117 (or whatever it was) point loss in the final Pagan game. We probably don't deserve another one up here next year ![]() Besides... I'll get my fill. I think I'll come down to watch Judd's first game against Eddie's mob. Go BLUEBOYS!!! |

I'll be heading down a few times next year. I'm getting a chubby thinking about watching Judd tear the Pies a new one. It's not a matter of tight-arsedness.....(although I am one at times ![]() |
