Did we have a previous "High Performance Manager"?

If so, he had the cushiest job in Australia as we very rarely turned on a "High Performance". Not much to manage there!

Anyone able to say whether he's replacing Ford, or working alongside him? If it's the latter, who is higher in the pecking order?

This is only a guess, but I'm thinking if he's coming from Cricket Australia he'd be running the show.

Seems like a step in the right direction... Hope we can run games out next year instead of those typical last quarter fade outs we ve encountered the last few years...

WOW! GS has easilly got to be one of the hardest working CEO's in the AFL.

He's on my x-mas card list this year!

This is yet another example of how well the club is being run, and the spirit around the place must be amazing these days.

This has been in the wings for some time - a very good get. Justin's a Bendigo boy - in his early 30's and has held fitness and conditioning positions with Essendon* and the Western Bulldogs before his stint with Cricket Australia.

I'm led to believe that Paul Ford is still Strength and Conditioning Coach while Justin will be High Performance Manager.

Good get Doc! I knew the lads seemed pretty happy with Paul Ford last year, so it is good that he is still on board. Seems we have really beefed up the fitness side of things with Justin though... I am sure the two will complement each other very well. Cheers!

Sounds more like a demotion to me - instead of Ford running the fitness program he will be required to fit in with what Cordy wants - like it or lump it.

It's probably not the best advertisement for this man to positioned anywhere near Shane Watson, like he currently is on the website.
