We cant expect Waite to do the same as last week
Ah ... why not exactly? Waite is a fourth year player not a first year player and we should be expecting him to perform consistantly if the supply of quality ball is there. Same goes for Whitnall and Lappin.
Betts is the only player we shouldn't have expectations of, yet strangely, I think he'll kick 4 this week.
The difference between Lance and Waite is Lance is paid as a top player and has showed that he is a class foward and I expect Lance to come out and change a game or be the sort of target that Waite was last week.
I am not saying that Waite can not do the job or wont do the job, but putting him there and expecting him to cover FF is rough for a guy who is 22 and only played 35 games. If the quality ball is there any player who is playing at AFL level should and is expected to do something with it, but at the moment our supply to the fowards is pretty poor.
