I think Longmuir will be given another go - he's still finding his feet and fitness after OP interrupted pre season. With Fevola another week away I think he'll stay.

Not sure on the others but I think Bowyer, Davies and Clarke might come in depending on positions. At TD I think Davies and Clarke might get the nod if playing back but Dennis does like Bowyers gutsy efforts and I have to admit he gives his all with what talent he has.

Against the Tigers we are at a distinct height disadvantage, it will be interesting to see what Dennis does in this case but perhaps Bryan will have to come in.

In fairness to T-Lo it was rarely kicked to him

I would like to see a bit of height down the back against the Tigers ie Richo, Stafford and Simmons to match up on. Options Prenda, Digby or Karl.

In's Prenda, Karl (come pull your finger out) Davies and Bowyer if Campo does not come up

Longmuir struggles to get into the game, it seems to just pass him by. I'll give him a chance but long-term I think it'll be he and Fisher competing for one spot and at this stage I'd go with Fisher..

Was down in the Carlton rooms after the game and a few players were limping including Carrazzo who didn't seem very happy and might be injured for a few weeks. Campo was limping as was Teague and Chambers was on crutches so without knowing the severity of the injuries we might have a few to worry about..

Chambers' knee looked pretty damn bad. Might be an LTI.

Bentick should come in.
As should Clarke.

These two have been playing their arses off in the twos and deserve a run against the Tigers.

Just saw McGrath in the crowd on TV with Fev. Is he injured?

I don't think we can have Bentick and Brett Johnson in the one team. I like Bentick but I don't know if we really need him at the moment, Johnson is doing ok.

I haven't seen Clarke this season but if he's doing well then yeah give him a go. He could replace Chambers who struggled again tonight and looks to be injured as he was on crutches in the rooms after the game.

Yeah goo point re: Bentick/Johnno.

Clarke to come in for Chambers.
Reckon Bryan might come in next week to help combat Terry's Triangle.

McGrath was dropped after the Port game.

It was interesting watching Fev in the stands, especially when Davies was sitting next to him in the last quarter. Fev was really getting into the game and barracking his arse off (almost in relief that his suspension wasn't going to cost us the game).

However, I could have sworn I saw Davies flinch every time Eddie kicked a goal :!:

They've got to try and run T-bone into form. Its pointless dropping him for no reason.

I'd say Karl would be close if he has a decent game in the 2s. Richmond play tall up forward. Digby would also be considered, for the same reason.

No problem with AB but Clarke?????????????

BACKWELL won the BF in the 2nds and couldn't get a senior game as he wasn't up to it! Neither is clarke. A waste of a pick if we go down that track again

LOOK FORWARD not back!! If any of the knees are longterm... maybe Pleming or some rookie and please dont make this a carlos thread! He's not ready yet!

The problem with Karl is that he is a tall who plays small. He isn't great in packs, isn't good at using his body in marking contests and doesn't have defensive smarts. At this stage, he is more of a flanker. But he does have height at least, so he has to be ahead of someone like Sporn on an opponent like Simmonds. Digby has the smarts, but could do with an extra yard of pace and doesn't have the physical presence to battle the gorillas.

Neither Archie nor Prenda seem to have the defensive smarts or ability in body on body situations. Archie is so easily jostled out of position that I shudder to think he might fill any defensive role other than a loose man filling a hole. Prenda is improving generally, so maybe he might improve in this regard as well.

Other than those options, the left-field option would be Bryan who has the height, but does he have the mobility and defensive ability and experience?

I know he has his fans but anything would be better than ADL at the minute.

Fair dinkum the bloke even 'two grabs' uncontested marks.

In: Norman Prenda McGrath

Sporn´s game was disappointing IMO, he should go down for a couple of weeks to find some form.

Out: Carrazzo Chambers Sporn Longmuir
In: Norman Prenda McGrath Morrell

Tiges will try and expose our clear lack of height in defence, we´ll need all talls in who can play back. Will be a hard day in the office for poor French.

Let's see how Norman responds to his demotion to the twos, before we suggest getting him back.

He was dropped for a reason, and needs to earn the right to play with the 1sts again.
