I didn't have any seating problems but trying to get onto the bridge after the match i was standing still for about 10 minutes. It was caos a traffic jam with people. They need to make the entrance to the bridge bigger or build another entrance onto the bridge it is ridiculous

It was worse after the corresponding game last season

I don't know if the membership dept knows something about my marriage that I don't but they managed to pi$$ me off.

I have one of four seats that I share with my wife, my sister and a mate. We are in Bay 31 on level 2 and my mate has seat G6, my sister seat G5, my wife seat G4 and my seat...

G...f@*^king 1

... and yes, my wife and I do have the same surname

Fortunately the couple in G2 and G3 were good navy blue citizens and were happy to move up but for god's sake...

I assume you saw this:

Otherwise you would not have said 'another'.

Why a separate thread?

Was going to put it under that one but I thought it sounded as if the blame for those problems lay at least in part with Telstra Dome I reckon mine problem can be blamed fairly and squarely on a brain-freeze in the membership dept

The trick there is that you should go to the bar for an hour after the game.

Then you get a nice clear run, albeit a bit longer due to the zig-zagging.

ballistic, just because you use *** to hide what you are saying doesn't mean you can get away with it. Your post was a direct insult to a fellow TC poster.

GodisNavyBlue, have merged your thread with this one. I understand why you think it might be different, but really it could have gone in the one thread.

I have never had a problem with the club re: seating at the dome. Last year we had 2nd last row on lvl 2, which were just ok, and this year we asked to go on level 3, wing, and 1st couple of rows (this was designated a members area in the guff sent out by the club).

That's exactly what we got. So balance out the complaints with at least two happy members. :)

THE CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB WILL BE GETTING A FURIOUS PHONE CALL FROM ME ON MONDAY. I WAS SITTING IN AISLE 18 WHEN WAS APPROACHED ASK TO SHOW MY MEMBERSHIP (SOCIAL CLUB) THEN TOLD WE WERE ONLY ALLOWED TO SIT IN THE FIRST 4 ROWS. NOW FOR SOMEONE WHO PAYED $300+ FOR A MEMBERSHIP AND ONLY ABLE TO SIT IN THE FIRST 4 ROWS ON LEVEL 1 IS DISGUSTING AND LET ME TELL YOU WHO EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE MONDAY MORNING BETTER BE READY FOR A BLASTING AND I WILL NOT LIE DOWN ABOUT THIS.

As a customer service rep I hope the phone cord gets wrapt around your throat before you call and strangles you slowly.

People such as yourself that blast some poor innocent bastard (ie ME) that's only trying to help should be dragged out into the street, beaten, then shot, then beaten again.

Good luck with your call, buddy.

Nah, we didn't reserve a seat. The area we were sitting in was supposed to be the Social 'first in best dressed' area. Ended up being a reserved area.

Aisles 15 - 17 are Social Gold reserved seats

I am in Aisle 16 as well Mel - yep Social Gold

I actually have an aisle seat and the thing that annoyed me most was that security wouldn't let us leave when Dennis & gang came down the aisle and then went back up again to the coaches box.

Oh well I suppose I will see myself on TV all the time as our seats are not too far from the front row LOL

As an Interstater i am a little confused here as to what just is the Social Club area.My reserved seat(this year and last) for Social gold is section 39/40,Level 2,row N.
Can anyone advise if this is actually anywhere near the Social Club?

Seems to me that section 16,that other social gold members refer to is on the other side of the ground..

I'm aisle 16 as well, what row?

The aisles in front of the SK Room are AFL members seats and all reserved.

Has anyone heard some of the figures bandied about on the numbers we had to turn away from the game.

Wouldn't have been turned away from the G and would have meant more bottom dollar :P .
