Oh please lets just relax and not get so cocky.I see all of us giving it to the Pies,The Demons and others. The Karma will bite us if we get too cocky about it,just hope for the best for next year. |

A cocky carlton = a successful carlton. OK, perhaps taking a small matter of salary cap arrogance out of the equation... It's been that way in the past and it will be again. Perhaps not yet... but soon enough... |

![]() Nah will be fine, just that million dollar contract is doing my head in.I'm just wondering how some players are going to feel in a few years time. I hear everyone spewing on Hamill and Camporeale and Thornton when they asked for a increase and it will happen with the kids.I hope there is a plan that we don't lose too much.It won't matter next year or 2009 but could in 2010.I hate the Salary Cap. |

My money is going on Fev for the Coleman provided that Judd plays 15 or more games at at least 90% plus fitness. I can hear everyone say, " he shouldn't play unless he's 100%." I agree, but I am just allowing for a bit of a recovery period and some minor setbacks from wet/heavy games, etc. Kruezer for the Rising Star? No - it's jinxed. CFC for the 8? Maybe, depends how many Judd and Stevens play together and whether they have Fev and Fish to kick to. CFC for the 2010 Premiers? ![]() |

Very unlikely that a 200 cm KPP/Ruck will win rising star in my opinion. Will be a good young mid getting 20 - 25 touches a game. Just like the Brownlow, a midfielders award |

For those interested, Centrebet had our odds at $41 for the flag at the start of today. After Judds' announcement, that had dropped to $31. |

Sports Bet had us at $51 earlier today. I got a bit excited after hearing the news and chucked $5 on us... They came into $41 not long after... I think we can sneak into the 8 with a bit of luck. Once you make the finals anything can happen. ![]() |

Geez you're a negative bugger Rambo, the players will get over it. They will be playing with the best damn footballer this generation has seen - and winning premierships as well. Oh i'm sure they'll get over it. Fancy bringing Hamill, Campo and T-Bird into the sasme conversation as Judd ![]() ![]() |

Anybody know what we're paying to make the 8 - it's been on my mind for a while now. IIRC this time last year we were paying about 7 or 8 bucks. A flag next year is verrrry hasty, but us making the 8 is looking better and better... |

I know we were 2nd last fave for the flag the other day (equal with Melbourne I think). Not sure about our odds for the 8. But safe to say the bookies have tightened up a bit since then. |

Centrebet & Sportsbet don't have a book for the Final 8 yet, only the premiership. For those interested, Mandy takes bets on COllingwood finishing above Carlton on the ladder. ![]() |

You have to be under 21 (which i doubt he is as he was a geelong rookie for a few years before he came to us. Prob about 23?) And also you have to have played 10 games or less before the season starts. Carrots is probably 50 something?? Either way definetly not eligible |
