Judd could win 2 Brownlows at Carlton.

Has to be, doesn't it?

Tops off a remarkable year in which we got rid of Smorgon and Pagan, and welcomed Pratt (4th richest man in the country) and Judd (best player in the comp).

Signifies a profound shift for the club's fortunes, from the worst period in our history, to unrivalled optimism.

If they could have done something similar to when they announced the hosts of the 2000 Olympics and done it at the MCG with supporters from both teams.

Judd: ....and da vinner is Carrrrrlllllton!!

This would truly feel like a Premiership. 1970 revisited.

I still reckon '99 prelim takes some beating.

Better than '99 - That didn't deliver us a flag - Judd will deliver more than one either directly or indirectly.

I just wished it was the Flag as it would have been the best Carlton game ever.

On field, appart from Grand Final victories, the '99 Prelim (and Kennett getting the a*se in the same day) was a red letter day.. an absolute dream come true. Off field, yesterday has to be the biggest news since Barassi's defection from Melbourne to Carlton in 1965..
