Seeing as how the AFL's version of this is PISS POOR, I thought we'd run our own. So which is it do you reckon? The Bloodbath Grand Final victory against the odds, with Bob Chitty turning the superior skilled South Melbourne side into mince meat? The come from behind 1970 premiership, with Teddy Hopkins from the clouds performance and Jezza's Mark of the century? The 1979 come from behind premiership, with Harmesy's unbelievable chase down and tap to Sheldon? Or what about Peter Bosustow's Goal and Mark of the year combo in 1982 (I think)? Final round 1987 when Sticks slotted the goal after the siren to give us victory over North Melbourne and the double chance/weeks rest leading into the succesful '87 finals series? Or last but by no means least, the 'tour de force' 1995 season, winning all but two games in our premiership triumph? If there is anything that I've missed that you want added to the poll, post away and I'll add it to the vote. |

I reckon if I saw 'The Bloodbath' it would be the most memorable. |

I reckon the bloodbath and 70 have it covered though, for mine. I think 70 has what 99 had, BUT with a premiership as well (ie, ripping a premiership away from Collingwood/Essendon*). 1970 also heralded the run-on game, and may have helped shape the future of football. Once again, Carlton setting the agenda. 1970, for mine. |

Two things... a) Voted for 1995 - it's why I support Carlton. b) I don't get the 'last but not least' saying. Which one is least if the last one isn't? |

Although, as great and as awesome as that win was, this is Carlton, we're about winning premierships, and while we denied the Bumbers a chance at winning one when we had no right to, I don't reckon it comes close to winning a flag. 1995 Premiership for me, as it's the clearest memory of a flag for me, after 87, sadly, can only just remember the 81/82 back to back flags. |

Wayne Harmes's tap for me. It was astounding, unbelievable, superhuman and Carlton all over. Best moment in football. How Blight's goal beat it for the most memorable moment is beyond me. The good news? We have a new Harmes/Kouta protege in Jarrad Waite. How does he get those handballs out whilst being tackled - astounding, unbelievable and superhuman. Go Waitey. |

Gee, and here I was thinking it was going to be about moments that have happened amongst the members of the TC community. ![]() ![]() ![]() 1970, Harmesys tap and 99 Prelim would have to be the top 3. |

72 Grand Final win as we kicked a record 28.9 to Richmond's 22.18. Nicholls was Captain-Coach and masterminded the win when Richmond were favourites after drawing the semi at Waverley. You have to get this game on DVD as it is the best game of attacking football you'll ever see. |

Definitely has to be 1970. Helped re-define football and embarassed our most hated enemy. The Premiership seals it. |
