Some of us with longer memories mourned when seven got the rights. We remembered how SHIT they were at footy broadcasting the first time 'round. If anything, they've gone backwards since, and they've even managed to take the best caller in the land, Dennis Cometti and make him crap. |

Cometti was always a Seven man...until they lost the rights..then he was a Nine man...until they lost the rights...then he was a Seven man...until they lose the rights...then he'll be a Ten man...if they have the rights...else he'll be a 31 man...if they have the rights. He's the network bike. He may have been good once, but this bike has been ridden into the ground and is now lying there waiting for anyone to come along and hop on top... ...not looking at you Seven. |

Bort sent me a text today about 15 minutes into the last quarter that Carlton's Grand Final Record Score of 177 points kicked in 1972 Grand Final was in danger - but thankfully Geelong lairised in the last 10 minutes or so trying to get Stephen King a goal. ![]() |
