Now the debate is a semantic one, I see. Sorry, I thought "predictions" are made about something before its conclusion. Was I in a coma for 16 rounds?

Nub, if I say "Howard will lead this country into the next election", is that a statement of fact, or a prediction? Now, it sounds like a statement of fact, but... wouldn't it have to be a prediciton, because of the DEFINITION of the word prediction? I haven't travelled forward in time and discovered Howard's intentions to run in the next election. So, really, its a PREDICTION

Call things what you want, but we know what they are.

My point, all along is, you're saying your prediction (that the season isn't over.. which, mate, you DO make fairly clear in your initial post.. and I'm not alone in that reading), and claiming everyone with a contrary opinion is wrong for having it.

And... is it wrong to think our season is over? Why? If you don't believe that any Carlton supporters WANT to lose, then why are you critical of their poor prediction? So, WHAT'S THE POINT YOU'RE REALLY MAKING about POOR PREDICTIONS?? That predicting poor performance makes you less of a Carlton supporter?

Mate, this isn't rocket science. But, the timing and overly critical nature of your initial post was really poor, and directed at your fellow supporters, who are really only after the same thing you are.

and if the season is over cos from here on in we lose all games, the coach, two million dollars and the rights to our jumper, does that mean those that predicted it is so were in fact not predicting but stating a fact?

I ignore the irrelevant questions that digress from the issue at hand, which is a) your changing story, and b) your "up-yours-we-won" attitude, which is PATENTLY clear in your initial post.

The people whor read your post as thus HAVE spoken for themselves. I suppose in your haste of backing away from your post, you haven't noticed them.

This thread should be sold to science as a miracle cure for insomnia.

Tyrant my story hasnt changed just your perception of it- due no doubt to my replies that have dragged you back to reality.
Mate you really are a Hypocrite. You accuse me of not answering your many questions. When I answer them you accuse me of backing down when I am merely replying to you.
A classic example is asking me what % of supporters want us to Lose- how is that relevant?
Yet when I ask a few questions of mine you quickly dismiss them as irrelevant. Mate that is the height of hypocracy.
This will be my last reply to you because you refuse to answer any of my questions yet expect me to keep replying to you.

Your argument is circular and based on a false premis.

BTW, it was mentioned elsewhere that Fev was asked by a journo what Kouta had said to him after his suspension and he replied that he hadn't said anything because he knows you know what you've done is wrong blahdeblahdeblah...

BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rip his F@%&#! heart out Kouta. Why have a captain if he's not going to say anything when a player crosses a line? Absolutely indicative of the club's leadership woes and it has to change.

Michael Voss said exactly the same thing when asked what he said to Jonathon Brown about his suspensions "I didn't say anything he knows what he's done".
So applying your formula for captaincy 101 Voss is a disgrace and indicative of Brisbane's leadership woes!
