With the B&F results and the brownlow coming up it has got me thinking about who stepped up this year.
IMO it was Carrazzo this year and Simpson the year before.

The question I wish to pose to you is who you predict the bolter will be next season, take the next step and raise his game.

(personally I think JK will become a focal point, with a strong pre-season and some much needed bulk added)

who do you think it will be?

although Murph is already insanely good...i think he will go up a notch now...especially if he is recieving handballs from Judd...

hopefully JK...Grigga, Jacko, Jamo, Russell, Harts guys like them....

would love to see Jake get a game...

Ryan Jackson or Mark Murphy (under the belief that we get Judd) Murph getting the 3rd best tagger instead of the best will make the world of difference next year and he'll show alot.

look out for jacko to be easily in the best 22 next year, and to be considered a 'walk in' to the team.

Setanta and Aisake will be the talk of the competition.

Remember how big they became after the last preseason?

Remember how many hours they put into their development?

Remember the goals Setanta kicked?

Remember Setanta's scalps?

Remember Aisake is faster, taller and a better kick?

One more preseason and these 2 will be monsters.

Really fast monsters.

Scary.

Scary enough for Lloydy to pull a hammy before the game.

Bring them on.

The Irishmen.

Well picked China Blues.

I reckon Fevola will poll the most votes (of Carlton).

Next year, i could see Murphy & Simpson leading the pack.

If we lose JK in a Judd trade then I am going to say Hartlett. He is a 195cm CHF who can mark and kick like a mule! If he stays injury free and has CHF up for grabs I reckon he could be the bolter

To get noticed next season: Kennedy, Russell, O'hAilpin x 2, Jackson
To take it even further: Murphy, Gibbs, Walker

i think someone like a Joey Anderson will do alright also...i like his size, and the games he played i liked watching him run around. Hopefully he can become a first picked 22 player on a regular basis.

Walks .. unfortunately, though, he'll be in Perth

But in the Navy Blue we might expect Matty Kreuzer or even one of the newly-blooded rookies to come to the fore ...

Joe Anderson.

He looked right at home until his injury, beat a few of his opponents to boot.

With another pre season look out, the kids a natural.

I have no doubt that Judd is a better footy player than Walker, but I wouldn't want to lose Walker to Perth for Judd and I don't think it'll happen. He's a blueblood.

Back to the point: Walker just has to improve his disposal. I bet over this summer he will fine tune this little problem, and then he'll be elite...a bona fide midfielder.

I reckon you will be right on the money for 2008.

Imagine Walker, Gibbs, Murphy and Kruezer in the midfield in 2009-10.

#2, #1, #1, and #1 draft picks right in the guts. Scary.

It's getting exciting...what if we add Judd and Stevens too... with the bolters of 2007 in Carrazzo and Simpson?

Walker will be the bolter. Gibbs a close second behind. Its so exciting to think of all the guys that can still step up in our team. Murph will improve. Waite will get more consistent. And the O'hAilpins will step up. Just to name a few
