I don't care about promoting the game (AFL), so hopefully there will be some other benefits for us as a club in this exercise. |

BUGGER! I still hold a small hope that Carlton will play one of either Sydney or Collingwood in Ireland...... Imagine that - Setanta & Aiskaie Vs Marty Clarke or Thadg? I'd fly over to see that, no worries! |

Most people here would probably know this better as Centurion Park. http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/southafr ... 59079.html It's in Gauteng Province, which is Carlton's development area in South Africa. Gauteng Province includes the cities of Jo'burg, and Pretoria; and has a population of around 9.5 million people. The match should be a great way to promote Aussie Rules in the area, and really get people’s interest piqued. Hopefully the club will put on some clinics; maybe spot a new talent. |
