Brilliant,

Ratts obviously saw something he liked when he was an assistant at Melbourne with Bomber.

He was impressive at Melbourne Press Conferences.

So is he going to be the senior consultant to Ratts or are we still looking for that person ?

What is the status with Sumich? Caroline Wilson mentioned tonight that he is getting the Essendon* job..

Part of the reason they're mounting a charge to get Judd.

Thanks for the info kenny.

Riley will most likely add a bit more than the assistant that just left.

Seems to be a really bright, positive character. The kids will react brilliantly to him I reckon.

Great stuff.

I dont have a problem with Riley either..seems a honest sort of bloke who gets on well with players and has a good background of footy experience.
Bit of a fatherly figure type and I think its a good appointment....

Looks like Riley got his payoff for coaching the Demons to a victory over us in that last round match.

George, you'll be the cause of an AFL investigation against us

Good news.

To think it could have been Chris Connelly who was given the chance to apply for the job.

Very confident person. The boys will love him. He's also a very interesting person to listen to.

Yeah I thought I noticed him at the pointy end of Pratt's jet the week before Round 22. 8)

Good communicator and, importantly, a good educator apparently.

Very happy with appointment. Impressed me no end.

For those who hate Houlihan please refer back to thread regarding Blues V Demons in Riley's first game as coach. Took Davey out of play to stop Houlihan sticking it down our forward's throats.
