I don't like starting new topics but I am under the impression that we are going to have a new sponser under our ranks. The new sponser is a financial institution called Power Loans.

any idea whether it'll be a major sponsor or a smaller one?

either way it's really good news and i'm expecting more to jump on board.

a new sponsor that paid for naming rights on the jumper is a good thing. $$ to the club.

you don't HAVE to replace a perfectly good carlton jumper just because a little logo changed from one company to another.

it's hardly like the premier league where the sponsor's logo IS the jumper...

Didn't Carlton just start a home loan broker business?

Can't have both.

Is it cheap or the usual 20%?

That would be the Official Apparel Sponsor

Got a hoodie for $60

Vodafone won't play ball
Quote:
VODAFONE Australia is on the verge of dumping its naming rights sponsorship of St Kilda, further increasing the pressure on embattled Saints president Rod Butterss.

Carlton is looming as the frontrunner to win the Vodafone sponsorship, after billionaire president Richard Pratt made the company a "hard-to-refuse offer". Carlton will offer Vodafone complete access to players, behind-the scenes content from the football club, and Vodafone will be allowed to make a pitch for Visy Industries' entire mobile phone business.

"You are absolutely on the money in regard to the Carlton offer," said a source at Vodafone. "But no deal has been signed yet."

Geez.............bit of a shock there! Optus have been pretty good to us in our darkest years! And we're just gonna switch to Vodafone?

It says to me that that's the way they do business at moorabbin. Unfortunately for them it's a situation they placed themselves in with the Ball position. Well - if that's what's best for the blues - go Vodafone!

Excellent - maybe the universe is finally starting to realign. Dare we use the "r" word regarding the Saints. :-D
