molsey or Synbad may be able to answer my question.. Does Denis see Simmo as senior player at Carlton or he be someone that will go, either delisted or traded at years end? I've been a bit doubtful about him too but I don't get to training or bullants games so I've really only got to go by what our training people report. I know that he is young & also not big enough to match it yet, but I still am a bit perplexed as to why he has not had more games time, considering he has been around for a while at Carlton.. Is it maybe that Denis does not see him as part of the team moving forward or is he being super patient with him??

I'm abnitg wrap for Slimmo and was very pleased with his efforts last night , one of the few who could kick long and give the intended target a chance to win the ball.

Is it maybe that Denis does not see him as part of the team moving forward or is he being super patient with him?? sorry danielle, but i have no link to the club other than through the communications department; i rarely get to training these days. my two cents worth is that Pagan knows what so many of us forget, and that is that Simmo is a young, emerging player in his third year of football. Given his size, its ahrd for Simmo to play Pagan's style but Pagan but to put it simply, Simmo has to take each chance to stay in the 1's. Friday night was the first step - 8 possies in 60 mins, while not great, is respectable. Injuries to Carrots and Cal will see him stay anyway. If only Simmo had have kicked that shot on the run in the last, we'd all be calling him 'Moneyman' and he'd be talked about in the papers!

Thank you Denis. You finally gave Simmo some decent game time. Did alright too considering he's still finding his way ie. getting used to actually being on the ground in a senior game. Players with genuine pace that can kick long and to a target are an absolute must in our side. With the injuries to Campo, Callum, and Carraz here's to hoping Simmo gets more game time to prove himself in the coming weeks.
