With Teague being delisted yesterday, Kouta retired and significant doubt on Lance's future we could have a situation where we don't have one best and fairest winner on our list. Obviously Carrots or Heath will fix this come the B&F night however I thought this was a little strange and may never have happened before.

Thanks to the Bluseum for the Winners list - couldn't see on on the Official website!

Was Kouta a B&F winner at that point? I thought he won his later.

I only started the thread because it is just seemed a strange little quirk. I guess it really shows that the club and the playing list is at a new stage - just think in 10 yrs time we will have Murphy, Gibbs and Kreuzer all as multiple B&F's (and premiership players!) Now that will be worth looking forward to!!!

Won one in 2001. Or is that "One won in 2001"?

Dunno why people on this forum and others have narrowed the field down to 2 (Carrazo and Scotland)...personally I think Simmo has it in the bag.

I'm not sure that the B&F/JN is totally responsible for crapness, like the Brownlow has been for some of late, but I would like to see these same stats for the Brownlow [thanks blueseum]:
1995 Brett Ratten (wins again 1997, 2000, retires 2003, returns to coach 2007))
1996 Stephen Silvagni (had won several times previously; last game 2001 SF)
1998 Fraser Brown (last game 2000 PF)
1999 Matthew Allan (delisted 2003)
2000 Ratts ties with Scott Camporeale (Campo moves to Essenscum 2005; retires injured 2007)
2001 Anthony Koutoufides (wins again 2005; retired 2007 mid-season)
2002 Corey McKernan (delisted 2003; retires 2004)
2003 Andrew McKay (retired 2003)
2004 David Teague (delisted 2007)
2006 Lance Whitnall (future in grave doubt according to TC posters for 2007)
2007 Andrew Carrazzo - congrats Carrots! [updated]
