bit harsh on Betts as he didn't play in Freo! Quote: Consider the guys that have played, and are likely to play forward for much of 2005 - Whitnall, Fevola, Deluca, Waite, Davies, Longmuir, Chambers and Betts. These guys had kicked 47 of our 60 goals in Rounds 1-4 for the year, 78% of the total goals scored. This week, between them they kicked only 5 of our 11 goals scored, down to 45%.

Fair enough 0.0 from less than half a game and 0.0 from one that he wasn't playing in....no (thinks again) that's still a bit harsh. Just think that of all listed Betts is the only one that hasn't been missing his chances....

Done. Agreed it was harsh on Betts, but it's not inetnded that way - the idea is to assess those guys as our forward group, and then there'll be an article on the midfield group and their goalkicking down the track... ps Jarusa.... Look, we all know that Mike & Dan should be up top, who reads Blue Skies anyway? Then it goes you, hen Blues Skies... then I think there's some other writer? |
