Those of us who saw his first years remember the lovely but sparse curly locks he had at the back of his head.

but when did he first take the plunge and shave the dome?

At the end of 1986, just before flying out with the team to London.

Only a few days into the off-season and already we're struggling for meaningful topics.. :?

Why don't you get in contact with Mil and ask him?

He did his knee in his first game in 1986 after trying to take a screamer in the goalsquare..... and missed the rest of the season.

When he resumed in '87 he was completely bald.

He suffered from Alopecia; for which there's no cure.

Simple question, fella.

Working on the Blueseum is infinitely more meaningful than crapping on in here about the same old complaints.

Thanks verbs and Warby.

After the flag in 87 (which obviously he didn't play in) he definitely had hair...

We went to London to play North in 1987 didn't we?

Harry Madden says it was '86 but he may be thinking of '87.

I think it was at the end of 87 or even 88. I remember one ex player saying he used to be all shy when he had the sparse hair, but once he shaved it off, he was like a new man, he oozed confidence and attacked the nightclubs like a man posessed :-D

I reckon it was end of season 88. First saw him bald in a post season game and I think it was against Hawthorn.

It wasn't 87 as that game against North was the night of my 21st, and I didn't watch it funnily enough.

Can confirm that it was pre-season 1988. (Well it was sometime after November 1987 and before March 1988).
