I hear we are about to approach Robert Shaw and are offering him a type director of football role.

He is desperate to get back to Melbourne and is highly regarded by Stephen Icke.

Also, have mentioned this before that Luke Darcy is high on Ratts list for a player development position not a assistant coach.

Some good gets i think. Let's make it happen

He'll come in handy if our small, peaceful coastal community is ever menaced by a flowering big shark.

Darcy would be alright though, wouldn't you think? He communicates really well and seems pretty switched on.

Caro and Hutchie on footy classified last night basically said that Connolly was a done deal for this job.

If he could convince any uncontracted Shockers....top class of course....to come on over, maybe it could be OK. Not 100% keen on the idea though.

Whoever we get for this role needs to make the following a priority...

NEVER LET FEVOLA APPEAR ON THE FOOTY SHOW AGAIN.

Unfortunately he makes a fool of himself and by extension, the club.

Can some answer me why we need a director of football when we already have Steven Icke doing that job?

Stephen Icke is Football Operations manager.

The current football department structure will change, we are following the pies model.

Connolly a shoe in for Carlton? Is that why he announced he is joining Melbourne and rejected Carlton. Good on ya Caro.
