Without the 'Shag' up forward this weekend our Forward 50 has a lot of uncertainty about it.

As Denis has being mentioning in the media, teams have 'worked us out'.

Well if this is so, then without our main target up forwad, an element of unpredictabilty evolves, meaning that our 'go to man' will be someone else other then Fev.

Denis will no doubt be conjuring up a plan whereby numerous forwards will be assigned the task of marking and kicking our goals.

In other words our setup will be different.

Come tomorrow night, the boys will be playing a fast pace, get it into 50, brand of footy where the likes of Betts and co will be chasing madly at the footy.

I expect to see a real disciplined, team oriented group of blokes wearing the Navy Blue tomorrow night. We will be expected to win, with, or without Fev, and if we're hungry enough for the win, then we can do it!

I mean Fev is only one cog in our team - be it big, or small, there will still be 22 blokes out on the field, no doubt giving it their ALL!

GO BLUES

Blues tough without Fev: Clarkson

"In patches of the game, we've let it slip, in particular, early in games, so we just need to make sure we're ultra competitive in the first part of the game.

"The one game we were ultra competitive in the first half was against Brisbane and we went on to win that game.

"If we know we're ultra competitive in that patch of the game, we know we're going to give ourselves a chance."

Ultra repetitive.
