I think we will line up like this:

Backs: Carrazzo Norman Sporn
H/Backs: Teague Thornton Houlihan
Centres: Lappin Stevens Walker
H/Forwards: Scotland Whitnall Camporeale
Forwards: Longmuir Waite Betts
Followers: French Koutafides Johnson
Inter: Bannister DeLuca Wiggins Chambers

In: Bannister Betts Scotland
Out: Fevola Bowyer Davies

I think that there is a good chance of these in's and outs's - Davies has had enough chances, I don't think anyone here would say that he has earned or deserves his place. Bowyer isn't in our best 22. Fev, well, he'll be sitting in the stands.

Bannister gives us the option of a midfielder/tagger or height coverage down back.

Sporn, Norman, Bannister, Chambers, DeLuca and Wiggins need to show Denis why they should be continually selected. They need to lift. If this "second tier" can perform well this week I think that will be the difference between 4 points and none.

Your thoughts?

I think Deluca and Wiggins have actually been playing quite well. Deluca has had an off game or two but overall he's been doing his job pretty well. Wiggins has played the best two games of his career over the last two weeks.

Sporn and Chambers have been struggling, and Norman got thrashed on the weekend but they'll improve, Norman especially when Livo gets back and takes that full back position.

Apart from the changes above, would also like to see Bentick reqarded for his good form - therefore, drop Chambers as well.

For me, Deluca must start on the ground and must be a key marking option up forward. Play him out of the goal square and Lance at CHF

Agreed, they haven't been terrible, but in all fairness they are simply treading water rather than making compelling arguments for selection. Most players in that group are generally one ordinary performance from being dropped. They need to change that if we are to succeed as a team this year. They need to prove their worth to the team.
