Just wondering if anyone had any info on the trainer that led us on to the ground on Sunday.

The players were all behind him clapping. I assume he was some sort of club stalwart :?:

Shame he had to go out in a game we wanted to lose

If it was Laurie, didn't he set up the Spirit of Carlton and was the main instigitator of getting some of the older players back to the club to spend time with the kids?

Perhaps DUC but I suspect you're thinking of Bob Lowery. Bob was a runner for the club for years and has put a heap of effort in to Spirit of Carlton.
He initiated the idea and pulled it all together. An enormous effort.
A great bloke as most of the clubs volunteers are.
