makes sense to play him on Williams. Tallish, fast and very disciplined. Will also have a point to prove after playing in the twos the last few weeks.

He should probably get Franklin on Friday night.

I agree Bannister for Franklin or next best would be Norman if he is still in the team, I would play Thornton on Williams..
Bannister has been hard done by as I have said many times before....hope if he gets a game he stays in and gets the same lattitude in selection policy that Justin Davies has enjoyed...

Definitely, Bannister on Franklin.....

I've been watching Franklin over the last couple of weeks.....very enviously, I'd love to have him as our "second Lance"...

Banno is a no frills player who is a very good mark for his size. I'll always have a soft spot for him after Rd 22 last year when he outmarked Buckley.....twice :D
Good to see him get a chance.

I liked Bannister's game tonight.

Didn't get a lot of it but really took Bateman out of it. I loved his run down the wing with his shorts around his legs too!

I might get excommunicated by saying this, but one thing I love about him is he has still got a bit of Essendon* "mongrel" in him. He's not filthy like a Solomon or a Johnson (or a Lloyd for that matter), but he gets in there and really gets stuck into them and in their face - never backs down.

We need a few of these real physical intimidators in the team.

I'd love to see him make Nathan "the squealer" Brown leave skiddies in his jockstrap next week.

God I'd love to see Brown have a swing at Bannister, as he'd out cold before his punch had missed!
