any spots still open for an athletic running ruckman?

Yes , yes and yes!

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, The trend with these games is that we need a ruckman

Not speaking out of term at all, Shane.

TS, as BB pointed out we're always in need of a ruckman and thats one position we can never quite fill consistently. You'd be more than welcome to play, mate.

Is everyone still right to play?

I'll come up with a team over the next week or so.

6'2 and a half / 6'3

i play CHB for Mount Martha but like playing in the ruck more, lets me have a bit of a run. (im state level high jump and 1500m running so yeh..im a ruckman being held back by the fact that there's a kid playing with us who's 6'6 and build like the preverbial brick sh*t-house!)

Lets talk this up a bit, it's only two weeks away, and we need to keep our run going.

We don't want to get to quiet on this front.

Trade week and then the forum game - mmmmmmmm

I've got a mate who will play with his stepson. He is 40yo, 6"2', 110 kg (of muscle) and even made it into the St Kilda reserve team when he was 18, so he can kick a ball. Normally plays full forward. His stepson is 17yo, 5"10, 80kg and is an on baller at his local footy club.

Anyone invite Judd to this game? After reading the BomberBlitz threads it would be interesting

Pretty excited about this one.

I just love these forum games. Loads of fun.

Jimmy and Clint, your mates are more than welcome because as you know people pull out some times right at the death knock. I'm pretty sure we'll have a bench and this time it will be used properly.

But anyway, looking forward to seeing you all again shortly and lets smash those Bomberblitz flogs.

October 14th vs. Bomberblitz
Glenferrie Oval
Be there at 1pm for a 2:30 kick off.

Bring footy shorts if you have them, runners and or boots (all depends on how hard the ground is) and a Carlton jumper or something Navy Blue.

Good to have you on board TS.

I'm still really keen for this match.

Forgot to add I've got a 90kg 6' 2" Brother-In-Law who's keen for a run... he's happy enough to start on the bench and go from there.

Surface at Glenferrie is a little hard under foot, but still playable. Well at the grandstand end anyway.

Bring runners and moulds I'd say.

Just having a kick today got me even more excited for the match.

Would have loved to have seen you tear BB a new a-hole.

No1.Blue and myself are still keen - I'm a 5'7" Wing/FP/BP Utility guy with a physique somewhere between Chris Judd and Derek Kickett (Legends Game-era). Not as fit as I'd like to be, but I'd like to think I'm a decent kick.
