So, in a few years, who will have survived? I'm guessing we'll pick up a clean-skilled fast mid in the draft if possible, and probably in the next one. Who will be cut? Below are those that can play in the midfield or flankers. I've asterisked the older players, and put in italics those that are certainties (as I see them). I've underlined those that I think may be near the chopping block.

Walker
Russell
Murphy
Gibbs
Simpson

Bentick
Blackwell

Grigg
Betts
Benjamin
Stevens*
Anderson
Scotland*
Bannister
Houlihan*
Raso
Jackson
Carrazzo

There are 18 players there - how many should we have rotating through seniors?

Rather than who would you keep, who would you chop, knowing that we will have one or two more talented players coming over the next few years?

Thoughts.

On The List

4-5 ruckmen
6-7 tall forwards
6 -7tall backs

19-22 mids, flankers,utilities

to me that looks the right balance for a 38 man list

Ditto Carrots. Midfielder or not he'll still be on our list by then. If needed , he could be the best back pocket in the competition , with the ability to go into the midfield or up forward.

Is that title a euphemism?
