Walker's first half against Port shows he is clearly unfit with that shoulder.

Absolute bullshit he is playing

Its a disgrace

Why not put him in mothballs for 07 and play a kid in his first game like Austin.

Unbelievably unprofessional

Our medical staff should be shot. Some of the decisions made this year to play injuried players have been unbelievable.

Exactly, Walker just couldn't get into it. He should not have played today and someone that is completely fit should have played instead of him.

Ratten has demonstrated his abilities enough for an assessment to be made.
Its time for the administration to step in and take control of our destiny for the last 3 games. Put Walker and any other injured players in for operations NOW!
How negligent will it be if Walker or any other players have a limited pre season because they are played in meaningless games now?

Playing injured players now in pursuit of a win is idiotic when the reward is the loss of pick one.

Do your job Stephen Icke and manage the list.

Entirely agree. One man's injury is another man's opportunity. We should not be risking any of our injured players right now. Put them out to pastour asap. Plus we need to provide opportunities for the youngsters, and there's no better time to try them out than when we are out of finals contention. If the result if losing the last three games then so be it. Setanta looks like he could use a rest. Ditto Walks.

I really wouldn't mind if we lost the last three games and kept the injured players out for the rest of the year. But i don't think that it is Stephen Icke's fault that Andrew Walker played, if the medical staff declared him fit to play then obviously Icke is going to pick him.

The most important thing is that if the medical dept cleared Walker to play then Walker is going to want to play, and thats what you want to see.

The club tried putting Fev on ice with a 13cm thigh tear. I suspect it was Fev's idea to have it re-scanned mid-week.

The players want to play and thats a great sign.

He shouldnt be considered. If he requires surgery (as reports suggest), he should be in having it now.
Delaying it only puts back his recovery time for 08.

He avoided contact a couple of times yesterday which suggests he isnt right. That would suggest the football department have confused their priorities imo.
If they are risking him to help us squeeze out a win, we have lost the plot completely.

Hasn't Ratts been listening to his CEO. Hope there's no Den Den-Mitchell communication issues here :P
