Today in QLD, Carlton are not on tv at all - tomorrow foxtel 8am is the next time the game is on.

This is a disgrace - something the club needs to press with the AFL.

Who feels like getting up at 8am Sunday morning to watch a game of football.

I created a .strm file with (http://sen1116.conexim.com.au:8080/sen1116) in it and xbox media centre is streaming sen now - I can watch the hawks game and listen to the carlton game.

Excellent work! Now we don't have to go through the AFL. How did you do that?

Use Notepad, create a new document, paste the stream location into it - i.e.:
http://sen1116.conexim.com.au:8080/sen1116

Nothing else needed in the text file. Then rename the file to have a .strm file extension, then either browse for the file on your network from your xbox, or copy it to your xbox. Takes a while to cache, but works a treat once you have it going.

You need Xbox Media Centre installed to run it though.

I will check for it - why doesn't their tv guide list main event, or is just me: https://www.foxtel.com.au/EPG/EPG.aspx

foxtel box says it is however - hopefully it is.

It's on the internet as well...

http://www.sopcast.com/

They stream Channel 10 out of Sydney so most always show the Saturday Melbourne game ...

Works well.

Why would the AFL want Carlton on FTA when "glamour" sides like the "Bulldogs & Saints" can keep the finals flag hopes of the "Vic" teams alive. When will people realise that sides like StKilda & Bulldogs create "blockbuster" contests everyweek with their winning ways. :P

I want to jump in and cheer with great gusto at your passion here, but I just can't due to the fact that there are only a handfull of games to go in the season and those two sides are somewhere near the finals race while we are wallowing down the bottom.... Rest assured however, that a winning Carlton side will create a FTA bidding war.

re Foxtel guides not listing Fox Sports + games, the guides are printed a month in advance so there is no way that they could know who was playing or if they will be allowed to show the FTA feed on their network.
