Post subject:  The Footy Show (Matthew Lloyd!)
Before the mod's go and move this post, it still has something to do with Carlton and Anthony Koutoufides - be prepared for a tyraid!!

Matthew Lloyd - what an absolute flower!!! The fact that this pathetic Essendon* moron cannot even acknowledge the career of Anthony is beyond amazement - the bloke is a dead set clown!!!

Nathan Brown: mentioned that he followed Carlton when he was younger (I found this surprising!) and I think he congratulated Anthony on a great career and wished him all the best.

Shannon Grant: Immediately off the bat congratulated Anthony on a great career and asked who were some of the best players that he had played with over his time at Carlton. Seems like a nice guy off the field and really respected other players.

Matthew 'I am Scum' Lloyd: Proceeded to ask Anthony about the rigours and toughness of AFL Football in the modern era and whether players would be able to play as many games in this day and age - for flower's sake - you can ask ANYONE that. How about acknowledging that he ripped you a new @rsehole in the 99 Prelim? flowering tool!!

Even when he did the read out of the teams, he focused more on the opposition that "power" forwards have kicked a bag against us - yeah sink the boot in you pathetic, free kick staging flower. Surely he could not be partial and acknowlege Jamison who is playing his first game?

Seriously, I hope that I never run into Matthew Lloyd in the street, if I did... I would show him one finger and see if he understood sign language! Let's hope that next time we play YOU and your scum-sucking excuse for an AFL side that we teach you a lesson - RESPECT MF'er!!!

Setanta may end up lining up on you and I'm sure you will be hearing footsteps when that first pass comes down to you - on the wing... because you won't be getting many kicks in the forward 50! Sorry to those of you that had to endure my rather angry moment. This adds more fuel to the fire that is my utter HATRED FOR Essendon*.

Matthew Lloyd - I hope to christ that you never get to pass the total amount of goals scored which is that of Tony Lockett (1,306?). You do not deserve to get anywhere near that feat and even if you did I doubt you would acknowledge Plugger, much like in the same way you don't even acknowledge Anthony Koutoufides.

Ahhh but didnt you enjoy how uncomfortable he was feeling when all the discussion was centered on Sheedy and the affect of Sheedy talking to other clubs and what affect it would have on the team.

Even more fun after he saw the Sheedy interview. that look of LLoyd was worth watching alone.

It is going to be so enjoyable seeing termoil at Bomberland with the member Backlash and the players going off the rails as the focus shifts on Sheedy with the Demons, Freo or even Tigers.

And with the member backlash from a small group .... the next couple of months and even better if it continues into 2008 with Sheedy being successful at another club.

I actually missed the end of the show last night, but are you sure it was being played live? I can't remember the last time I saw a band playing live on the Footy Show. It's such a cop out when bands don't play live it gives me the shits :roll:

Wouldn't read too much into it. He says alot of that stuff beacause he's as dumb as, not malice. Stupidity = lack of judgement. Most vacuous look I've ever seen in a footballer.

He actually barracked for the Blues - old man played 40 or so games for us.

Pity him - if only his Dad had played ten more games he could have been saved!

Great post sticks! I thought EXACTLY the same thing. Heard Brown speak, saying how Kouta was his idol and he supported the Blues (I was also pleasantly surprised). Grant spoke very well of Kouta too. And when it was Lloyd's turn, I was fully expecting him to jokingly mention the 99 prelim.

Was surprised he didn't, and as you said neither did he acknowledge Kouta's contribution to the game. And did you see how he stuttered through his questions? Lloyd is a VERY ordinary speaker. Maybe he is still genuinely pissed with Kouta and the Blues for knocking them out of the 99 prelim. What a w*nker...

Sorry can't agree. The dummy dressed as Gary Lyon had MORE personality than Mathew 'my IQ is a negative number ' Lloyd. The guys a dill at best.

anyone else hoping the asked Kouta what was his favorite memory.

hoping to hell he would say something like

95" GF was awesome, that was the best, but when i smashed Essendon* and Monga was playing in that game too, that was special, that was right up there.
