I don’t really care who the new coach is. I just want a coach who · Sees the coaching role as a person who teaches and develops talent. · See the role as more important than himself and puts the Club, the players and the supporters ahead of himself · Understands that the world has changed over the last 20 years and different methods must be employed than the old “rant and rave†|

Who is so inspiring that the young group feel obligated to go out and play for him and for each other week in week out. |

Who is able to articulate what the team is trying to achieve, have that plan understood and match that plan to the available personnel. Have several scenarios on the field so that if one is not working there are viable alternatives. Who is able to work well with young men who are still transitioning into a new life away from home. I just want the coach to be the best that the club is able to secure, whether he played for Carlton or merely the Quambatook 2nds. |

Doesn't have a potential conflict of interests coming to Rd 22. Takes us up the ladder smartish. Can wear headphones when necessary. Is firm, fair and friendly. |

It's simple... I just want a coach who brings us greater on field success, inspires our young guns to bigger and better things and lifts Carlton back up at the top of the AFL tree when we rightfully belong... |
