I'll get the ball rolling..

1. Our players in possession of the ball, looking up and being able to do a kick to someone who's obviously free...

2. Our players having clean, easy possessions out of the backline...

3...

4. Tactical matchups that outsmarted our opponents and were a clear win for us (see Murphy on Montagna and Jackson on Harvey).

7. Not having Pagan in the box which resulted in a kid like Jackson remaining on the ground for most of the game giving him the confidence to back himself and actually be named in our best.

We had tactics :-D

Our coach didn't drag kids for the slightest error and reinvorced that message at the press conference.

I smiled during a footy game.

Edit: Shit sorry,

9. I smiled during a footy game.

10. A game worth recording, even though we lost
11. Carlos killing it up forward
12. Harvey being stopped by a rookie (a repeat of 6, I know)
13. A chance of winning even during the last few moments (but not when Bryce was lining up that last kick)
14. Ratts in the coaching box in the drivers' seat
15. ...

1. a side that stood up for themselves.

when Murph gut dumped by that cauliflower, Blackwell and Betts where at him, sticking up for his mates.

that is something that has been poorly lacking IMO from our side for ages.

abit more of that will go along way for team moral.

p.s. im becoming a huge fan of Blackwell, hard as nails, uses the ball well and rarely misses a target and gets plenty of it.

16. Carlton supporters clapping and cheering their coach as he ran out to give the qtr time speech.

17. A team with confidence that didn't drop their bundle at half time when it seemed we could be heading for a 10 goal drubbing. Instead there was a fight back to end up going down narrowly.

I noticed that. At one point he actually seemed to sum up the situation and quietly accept that he was going to cop one... and then took the bump like a pro.

Knowing they didn't have to dance with their sisters afterwards :-D

I think they went to play the game the same way we went to watch the game.

Feeling like the world had been lifted off their shoulders, and having a big sigh of relief.

They were unleashed, the played for each other and with belief.

Win, lose or draw if we can maintain some sort of consistency then we have a better understanding of where our list is at.

1. Confidence

2. Self belief

3. Fev chasing like the devil was after him - reminded me of the round 3 game against the Scum.
