So the deed is done.
The interim was well received ( this week anyway)
Newspaper and newspaper people giving all the shits with their inside knowledge.
Amazing that everyone has a different view.

KB ( SEN) sprouting that We have good list going forward and are the plum job. Might be..... Too early to tell.

Please get the bandaid pulled off quickly. It hurts initially but the rest is calm. Slow tugging of the baindaid hurts for much longer.

Please complete the task at hand. Don't take any short cuts and Announce the Coach. Then we can move on.

Who knows there may even be a poll on whether the board got it right or not before 2008.

Really? Did he say that?

KB's an idiot who is largly to blame for the pathetic 'hands in the back' rule ridiculing the game this season.

Not only that, he has been shit-canning these players all year and saying that it's their fault we're in this position and not Pagan's.

Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining KB...................

Interested to hear what he thinks now after the performence the boys put in vs StKilda.

How about this.
Let the board and admin do what they think is best and leave it at that.

Sounds good to me.

This time last year whatever decision was made we always doubted because of the incompetence of the people running the club.

Today, whatever decision is made and in whatever time frame we won't worry so much because we have faith in Pratt, Swan, and Icke.

As to KB. The discussion was of Carlton, Essendon*, Melbourne and Fremantle which job would be more appealing.

Fremantle was ruled out because of the expectation, issues with players etc.

Melbourne was ruled out because of a culture of softness and lacking that killer blow.

It came down to Essendon* and Carlton. KB was leaning towards Carlton because he saw potential in our list, knew we had a big supporter/membership and understands that the off field is well and truly in control and surging forward.

I think we've all gotten a taste of just how badly the scum's board is truly run when the cameras aren't looking. They essentially admit they lied to the public about what they were doing with Sheedy, and have been rightly criticised for it. That's the sort of thing Smorgan's regime would've done.

Nathan Burke said the same thing. He said in his interview with KB that of the 3 Victorian clubs Carlton would be the one he would with their list of up and coming young players.

I agree...on an admin and board level we have come a long way this year. Lets hope the offield benefits runoff to the onfield soon.

In fairness I think they caught in a no win situation.

If Sheedy had been keen to step down it would have run smoothly, but he didn't.

They would have been better making no comment last Monday night, not "we didn't discuss it".
