I'm not sure the average mug punter sees Campo as a leader at the club..when we had Sticks as captain he had the support of players like Peter Dean who was a club leader...I dont see Campo in the same light as Peter Dean or held in the same regard..I have no bias against Campo...he has been a very good player for the club but I dont see him supplying leadership the same way that other past deputies/senior players have supported their captains....I just think he gets too intense with himself ,personal battles with other players ,umpies and forgets about the team.....

Yeah. Right. Sure. That's got to be it. Definitely. Poor Jonny Mac and Darren Hulme. $$$ will win every time. Nothing to do with the fact they JUST WEREN"T GOOD ENOUGH. Silly me.

Hey! Maybe they should've reinvented themselves too. What the hell's wrong with them??

I pity the next poor superstar/schmuck who gets a big contract....or are we going to just pay everyone the same amount? Now there's an idea! What do you reckon? Split the salary cap up evenly amongst everyone. I like it!

The point is Denis hands are tied with what he can do with them.
Why is Denis even having to defend Campo 2 years ago??

Of course people can get different contracts... they have to get what theyre worth.
Are you saying Campo is worth 600k a year????
Or even 2 mill over 4 years?

OK. Put it this way verbs, can you see a similar article coming from Denis about Campo right now?

  Only if Campo reinvents himself AGAIN. He'll retire as a ruckman!!

Yep nice one. However, I'm referring to the leadership aspect of this thread and what Denis said in the article: [i]"It’s a lot to do with leadership, it’s a lot to do with team first and a lot to do with supporting his teammates under extreme pressure.â€
