It's pretty obvious we aren't going to win another game this year and are now heading for a juicy No 1 draft pick (3 in 3 years - awesome!) This is such a certainty I know what I'll be doing I am gonna bet against us every week and make some cash. a +39 BET IS A GOOD THING when you are tipping against the Blues (except against Melbourne...we might get a little closer than that...maybe just a 5 goal loss.) Let's see Carl vs St Kilda. Hmm we'll do excatly what we did against the Lions yesterday and leave a nice open fwd line for the G train to lead into and he'll have a season best game against us (tho if I remember correctly it would top his 6 goals against us earlier this year). And we'll play little Milne into some form. And of course the Saitns AWESOME ruck division will have a big day out against Kennedy and ahhh won't even bother mentioning his name. Hell we should organise a Talking Carlton punting money pot so that proceedings can go into a place where people care and give a damn. See you in the millionaires club |

From the title I thought you were going to tell us that we had appointed Stanley Kubrick as posthumus caretaker coach ![]() |

Can you get an "all-up" bet that will roll over for the next six weeks? Give us some real interest? |

Funny enough, I wanted to place a bet on Friday Carlton to lose every game for the remiander, backed into Richmond losing every game for the remainder.... No takers. |

Nah sorry boys..............i'm sick of this tanking bullshit! These kids, our future, need SOMETHING positive to take into the 08' season and i can't see how not winning a game is gonna provide that for them. We need to restore self-belief in players such as Waite, Walker & Murphy who clearly look like they have lost faith in themselves and their surroundings. I'm sick and tired always looking for a #1 draft pick to be our saviour. Sure, Kruzer is good but he's not worth loosing games for, even if those games are pointless dead-rubber wins anyway! If we win a few more, we'll still probably finish 3rd last and end up with pick 3 anyway. And if we get a Cotchin, Masten or Grimes or Palmer with that pick i'll be happy with that. We could pick up a Bellchambers or McEvoy with our 2nd pick. Aisakie will be our #1 ruckman soon enough anyway, i have faith in that. These kids need some good hard & BELIEVABLE footy. Sack Pagan, Install Ratten, get some wins & some god-damn belief! Far more important to me than another #1 draft pick. |

ryan2000 - I agree with you wholeheartedly. But I think Electric Blue's failed foray into backing Carlton to lose every game will show you that we will lose every game. I also think it shows that the AFL have got to change the system so that even if we are a junk footy team, the Carlton Football Club will want to win games and not plan for the future by losing. I think it would be great if we won the last 6 games of the year. But it's not going to happen. We will lose every game and I plan to make some dollars. yeehaa! ![]() |
