well, needless to say that the year turned to shite a long time back and yet again we have been left to ponder things other than what a proud Carltonian should be thinking about at this time of year ie finals..........
Once again we have been forced to think about things like
1) Will Fev win the Coleman this year? (- nope)
2) What draft picks are we gonna get?
3) Will we get the PP? (most likely)
4) Are the top ten picks as good as they say they are? (won't make much diff if we don't get rid of Pagan)
5) Will we trade a pick and keep one?
6) If we do trade a pick, surely we have to come up with a winning trade eventually???? ( Or is God a scum supporter after all?)
7) What will the AFL introduce to try and flower us over this year?
How long does it take for a team to be rebuilt?
9) Why is our coach the only one in the league that will not let a young player make a mistake and learn from it?
10) Is Pagan on Australia's Endangered Species List or is he infact protected under the flora and fauna act?
11) Will Fevola find form again or will he be flowered off elsewhere?
12) Can we de-criminalise kidnapping to sort out our ruck problems?
13) How many more years will it take us to develop a decent middle - tier group?
14) How many more years until SOS jnr comes into our backline?????
15) Who is the next coach?
16) When will this current, (and one of the worst ever ) premiership droughts come to an end?
17) Are we going to pick up another dud ruckman in the PSD?
18) Who is out of contract at the moment and are they worth trading for?
On a serious note guys;
a) are there any ruckman, in and under midfielders or quality defenders that we could trade for this year?
b) should we keep Fev and throw another lifeline or try and pick up some quality players/picks because of what is supposed to be a shallow draft?
c) how the flower can Pagan justify giving Grigg just one game?
Any mention of uncontracted players would be much appreciated so that I can occupy my mind with something as September nears!
