I heard somewhere over the previous couple of days that we are the second worst defensive team in the history of football. From memory StKilda (God bless em) in the early 90's was worse. Can someone confirm this. In this age of accountable football we are absolutely unique in terms of being able to stop anything.

Does someone have a stat for how how high scoring we are as a low placed team, say outside the top 8 or in the bottom 4?

All I know is that we have had 1983 points kicked against us this year at anaverage of 132.2 points per game.

Was talking about this tonight at the junior footy club. Every team that plays us knows their good for 20+ goals. Man for man we,re not that bad, it's just that the message is no longer getting through. Not unlike Graham Arnold and the Socceroos, talent's there but no-ones listening.
