I can see it now, coached the team into a Grand Final against the pies and in the press conference before the game he stands up and says: "Well may we say god save the queen, because nothing will save the Collingwood Football Club!'. |

Hosted the Directors, players and coaching staff with an "informal " dinner at his house. Excellent evening made particularly special by the guest speaker - Walter Mikac, a life long Carlton supporter who lost his two daughters and his wife 11 years ago in the Port Arthur massacre. His message was pretty simple - never take for granted what you have because you never know what is around the corner. I don't think the message could have been delivered in a more powerful way - real historical news footage and his personal experience. |

We could always organise a three-club deal that saw us get Daniel Kerr and Josh Fraser for Fev. That way, our centre square work could result in Kerr paving the way for Fraser. Such centre square dominance would naturally serve to block supply to the opposition. |

Actually, I thought this was funnier, mainly because it was first. Interesting thread this. It never ceases to amaze me that there always seems to be a TCer who has info on the most obscure stuff, plus there are some very witty posters out there in TC land. |

In Sporting Life in the Age today there was mention of a gathering at Raheen for the Women of Carlton. On the list of attendees was the mothers of many of the players, wife of DP and the wife of Bruce Doull. Jo Silvagni was MC. It also mentioned that as Bryce's mother could not attend his grandmother and great grandmother came in her place. |

you've got good genes if you're 18yo and your great grandmother's still alive and kicking... |

Would have to agree with that. Do the nanna and great nanna live in Melbourne? It would be great if they did for Bryce's sake [and ours] ![]() |
