Too weird...we had our crap logo jumper, Collingwood did nothing, St Kilda wore their pjs...er, and WHEN exactly did Richmond ever wear YELLOW shorts???

Seemed half the teams gave the AFL heritage the flick and wore whatever they wanted.

Pity, I love seeing the old Carlton 70/80s logo on the navy running around again... :(

That's the 60s dude. But I guess many wish they could forget the 70s.

Heritage round has been a crock of shite this year. Clearly no-one gives a shit anymore.

"Dude" - in the 60's the use of drugs, heavy partying, promiscuity and “hipâ€

I'll take your word for it. Hard to tell from my vantage point inside my mummy's tummy.

This is what we contributed to Heritage Round...
NOTHING.
No effort made by Carlton.
Here was our chance to wear our famous guernsey with the "good" logo we wore for 100 years and what did we do?
Zero, nothing, nada, zip....
Pretty pathetic.

I know it doesn't seem very important given our performance but I think it speaks volumes when as a club we are incapable of making an effort to respect history or recognise that we're part of something bigger.

Carlton people have complained that we lost part of our history now that we don't play at Princes Park anymore. Seems to me the club doesn't rate history very highly.

As a club we used to be innovators, now we're just lazy and apathetic.

What REALLY pisses me off is that McGuire won't let the AFL tell him to adopt an "Away Jumper".......it is SO pathetic !

Is it pathetic? Or a show in strength?

Our white jumper is just that! Fly the surrender flag.

It looked good in principal, but in a game IMO looks ordinary...

Navy Blue's....Forever!

What about the umpires yesterday....

How novel, make them wear white.........

How easy were the to see????

It's a War between McGuire and Port Adelaide......who wore the Black and White Stripes before Collingwood.......and McGuire's influence with CH.9.......Finish of Argument.....it's called Politics.

Well said HS.I was really looking forward to seeing the real jumper yesterday, instead we copped the usual cheap (iron logo) version.I still cant understand the reasoning behind changing it-very few supporters i know like the current form.Wouldn`t it have been a smart marketing move to have the Heritage jumper available as merchandise also?We wore the right jumper for the Heritage round last year so why couldnt we make the effort this year?
