Time to unleash the Eddie!!!

Stick him in the F50 for him to BANG IT BETWEEN THE TWO BIG STICKS!!!!!!!

A few changes to occur this week! Play those who are ready to perform in helping us bury the hawks!

Come on BLUES - it's time to perform!

Kicking a lazy 7 in the magoos today wont hurt his chances.Reckon the next time you see Eddie everywhere it will be at the G. this friday night.

He should play just about every week if you ask me.

Just keep him on the ground, keep him in the forward line all game...he has to kick at least one or set something decent up in a whole match of footy.

The nature of his position is such that he's going to have some very quiet games. But on the flip side he will have games where he will be unstoppable. We're better off having him there than not, you can always use a player like Eddie at the feet of the pack.

Eddie is a huge talent but because he missed so much footy last year and he is still young we need to manage him or we will burn him out.

We need to be mindful of the matchups too. He got benched v Port because he was simply outsized and couldn't shake his opponent loose.

He is an incredible talent, but still has much to learn in terms of playing against the big boys.

I agree with Synbad he needs to be carefully managed.

Hopefully he will come in and kick 3-4 for us though. His chasing and tackling to keep the ball from rebounding so easily will be worth a few turnovers too I reckon.

Well he doesn't have to play 120 minutes every week...

I just think that we've been crying out for a player like that for ages and then we get one but don't use him like we could...

I know that at this stage we have to manage him carefully but even if he plays 60-80/120 minutes he's going to contribute something.

And he still kicked 6 or 7 today while sitting on the bench. I knew he was a special talent, but I never knew ... :P
