Hey there, I have just noticed that Mr Pagan seems to be attempting to get himself sacked. I was just wondering what he could do, to give him that extra edge to see himself out the door. Thoughts/Suggestions are most welcome.

I'm thinking maybe he sends Murph and Gibbs back to the Ants for a couple of months, to try and get the Bullants into the VFL finals. At least we would have one successful side then?

I thought he was doing his best. His been reasonably creative since 2003 and continues to excel in his attempts to get a super payout. What more can you ask?

After Pagan leaves can Sticks move away from the football dept??

Surely denis would want to win, given that some are suggesting he may move to the Dees once he is inevitably sacked....what would be the billionth final straw for me will be if there are no changes, or he brings in just Teague

...but if we want to lose the rest of our games to get the picks surely we must keep him on.

Pagan to stay to the end of the year. New coach for next year.

No coach is going to want to be caretaker for the rest of the year knowing we need the picks.

Put up with Pagan for the rest of the season then start the petitions (which wont be required).

Synbad, you may have posted this elsewhere, but what's your take on the coaching position in the short-medium term (ie now through to the next off-season?)

From what i understand...
Pagan is gone
Voss will most likely be coach.

Now i dont know if theyll get rid of Pagan before the end of the year... but he wont be here next year.

He should start having a go at Dick Pratt if he wants to leave.

Why not consider Neale Daniher?

I like his style, his passion, his committment.

I thought Waite saved him in the last quater. Another 100 pt loss would have surely ended his tenure.

I think he needs to go out with a bang.

Getting maggoted in the coach's box and becoming the first coach to be stretchered onto the field to deliver a halftime address would certainly be a memorable achievement.

I agree about the coach BUT some of the players (experienced) need to take a look in the mirror! Fev and Lappin in particular. Players of their experience CANNOT keep putting in bad performances. Sets a great example for the young guys!

We are slowly but surely getting back to the form that ensured us Wooden Spoons!

Given our last two weeks we are the worst side in the league. The previous week Richmond ran Freo to three goals and did the same against the Saints last night and Melbourne got beaten by under a kick to Essendon*. Pagan hasn't got the answers so it's time he left, the day after round 22 will do me. I won't be surprised if we get the spoon again this year.

Sleep with Whitnall's Mrs so we can trade him for Wells.

I have huge respect for Daniher with the way he accepted his time was up and fell on his sword. Pagan should do the honourable thing and walk away like Blight and retire to the Gold coast.
