The sound of sharpening knives on the forum is deafening, so let's refocus on what we did right. 1. T Bird through unscathed. His value will be more evident in the coming weeks. 2. Brett Johnson. Shows what gritting your teeth and persistence can do. 3. Wiggins. Okay he missed a fairly easy shot on goal (who didn't) but really applied himself and was selfless in running back into packs to take grabs. 4. Houla. Showing that he is ready for more midfield action. 5. Fight. Yes we lost and it was a pretty heartbreaking loss when you consider the opportunities we threw away. But, we didn't throw the towel in and get routed as could have happened. Good resolve shown. 6. Walker starting to find a role in the team. Give him 2-3 years and see what he does. |
