Bad Kicking cost us...waisted efforts...but given 2 consecutive interstate games, good effort to come within 13 points with 2 1/2 minutes to go, only to lose by 19 points.

Fevola has major problems...body language all wrong...looks like has a trip to Bali on schedule...

As for the ballarina team of wooses...FREO! OH HEVO! My f***ing a*s...they will never win a premiership for as long as they play that woosy chip passing/switch play crappy football BECAUSE SIMPLY it doesn't work under finals pressure...its called time and space and the extra 10 metres (length wise and width wise) found at SUBI does not exist on the MCG...the other thing we showed today that if we kept all our play within the inner corridor that maybe the game would have read 4 or 5 extra goals (GETTABLE GOALS) to us...

Good fighting Effort and when Pagan pulled Fev's arm in the 3/4 time huddle, whilst he was at it he should have maybe slapped him over the head so he can bloody wake up!!!

As for Robert Walls...please bloody check the fixtures before you inspire another player into form...Pavlich, LIKE Tarrant decided to find form today...Thanks WALLSY!

If we are to play finals footy...Wins over Hawks and Tigers is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!!!

Issues .... Tackling

Todays' game vs Freo both aspects of tackling were woeful

1: We couldn't stop a running Freo player .... they were breaking tackles at will
2: We couldn't break a tackle ... not even when they caught us with one hand
(have our jumpers got handles on them ?)

We have been a poor tackling side for a number of years, and despite the physical improvements made since Pagan and Co. arrived we are still undersized, most teams just laugh and shrug us off when we attempt a tackle. Again we are a very average team beaten by a good ordinary team that WAS in a form slump.
Do we have the worst disposal in the F50 in the league? we are so inefficient up forward.
Its going to be a long year, not sure when our next win will come but it won't be in the next two weeks, who's after that?

We've struggled with tackling for a while, because we've been too small and too slow. We're steadily improving in both these areas, but we're certainly not leaders of the pack yet.

Walker should lay more tackles than he does, given his athleticism and physique. He tends to rush in too quickly and overcommit, and they run around him easily. You might say he has a touch of the 'early Wiggo's'.

Are you for real ???
The only reason it's going to be a long year, we will becausse we will be competeive and not always take all our chances. We lost to Collingwood when the game was ours, we lost to the Homeless Roos when the game was there for us, we drew last week and we could of won today... To suggest you're not sure when our next win is, is CRAZY !!! Surely you aren't serious are you ???

You proved my point by listing games which we should have won but didn't. We will struggle against the spirited dawks, and richmond has got a reasonable coach now, that will be round seven and apart from North and tiggers all are teams from the bottom 8. We are very average.

Poor tackling and a overall wimpy approach...no leadership either.
Agree with mega on some of what he said...I thought we had improved our tackling and thrown off the schoolboy image but todays form showed we still have a way to go..Freo are soft front runners but we couldnt handle their better players and even their battlers madeus look ordinary.
No Fev and no Stevens if it happens should force some players to step up or be exposed...I reckon we can get up this week as its backs against the wall stuff and we tend to lift for these type of games...I hope so anyway.

Seems like some people are two weeks too late.
Don't understand the anger this week when two weeks ago the writting was on the wall and I was being abused for mentioning some of the above points.

It really is disappointing and frustrating.

Paganbro couldn't agree more. Although if you class Pavlich taking 20 marks in row 40 of the grand stand then I will agree with you on this point.

Pavlich is the most overated so called star in the game, lets compare his effort against Koutas 17 marks against a star studded West Coast in the 90's. or a vintage Wayne Carey who kicks a bag if he takes that many marks.

Like the rest of the Dockers, play that shit in Melbourne and we would of creamed you, oh actually we will cream them at the return bout.
