Is this an observation from today's game?
I assume it's about trying to move the ball on as quickly as possible, even when it means taking risks. With our style of play, it's essential as we play a direct style to key forwards who don't take that many contested marks. So they need a chance to win the ball one-on-one or in space. Even if we wanted to (which thankfully we don't - although it might help us to pinch an extra win or 2 in the short term), we don't have the skill level to play the chip-chip possession style that so many teams favour (and where you never handball unless it's to clear adavantage, and always kick so your teammate can mark instead).
