Terrific performace by Carlton today. Hunted in numbers and had an exceptionally good functioning forward line full of mobile talls and mids which stifled our normal supply of rebound off half back. You guys are playing an exciting brand of football, and had we not had Haris and Morris in our defensive 50, the result would have been a shite site worse.

Carazzo is the most improved AFL footballer in 2007.

Quality post Sedat. Most people here would realise the doggies can play alot better than that and that we got you on a bad day ( not saying I wasn't exstatic with the effort ). However you made no mention of that, very gracious.

Harris was their "finger in the dyke".

He repelled 50% of our forward entries in the final term.

If he had'nt...we would have won a lot easier.

Offensively - my word.
Defensively - not yet.

I'd take him in a heartbeat - for some reason he reminds me of a very young nathan brown (hopefully without the injuries/personality). Should develop into a very handy FP/HFF in the next few years with a longer term view to midfield. Such a good finisher and seems to have time when he has the ball.

I have to say it...

The Doggies are my 2nd team (hides for cover).

I really like the way they play and I reckon they will still be dangerous in September.

Hahn did'nt do much today and McMahon was pretty quiet.

Cooney is a superstar, as is Gia.

But Harris was easily your best player today.

I had a feeling before the match that we would match up well on you though.

I knew it was going to be a shootout...it was a great game to watch.

good luck Sedat for the rest of the year.

Agree. Grace in defeat is a sign of a true gentleman. Wouldn't expect anything less from Sedat.

Well listen to SEN tomorrow on the soapbox - if I get on before 6.00pm "Chris from Werribee" is going to get his come uppence.

Higgins reminds me of a very young Ben Cousins. In looks and kicking style.

Let's hope for your sake Sedat that's where it ends.

He shits me.

The comment was made by Tim Watson that Lance was born 20 years too late in that his athleticism isn't up to modern standards. Similarly, if Higgins played 20 years ago he would have had to stand a player of the ilk of Rhys-Jones and, well, he'd earn his money every week I reckon.

Onya Sedat, how do you reckon the umpires went today. Am I completely biased, or for much of the game did you really have three extra men playing for you?

Yet Eade slated him in public for only playing one quarter.

Robert Walls reckons he is an outside player who is only interested in getting easy kicks. Is that true?

I like Walls but he isn't in touch with today's game. If the player isn't a big strong unit then he isn't a fan. He was really ripping on Aker yesterday saying he was soft but he wasn't that bad.

Aker didn't play that well yesterday, and didn't have much impact ont he match at all. I love watching him on song, but was glad that he wasn't on yesterday, or he could have really cut us up, along with Eagleton, who regularly tears us a new one.
