Post subject:  The Footy Show
I've been watching this for the past few weeks, and am I going crazy or do they always seem to put the Carlton games during a time where they need to race through it to get to something more "important"? They always seem to be running out of time when doing our games yet always find the time to slow down afterwards and gasbag about other things.

Do you think there's just no interest from anyone on the show, or that it's a deliberate ploy from channel-9 to prevent viewers from dropping off (because we're apparently SO bad for ratings, especially if the number of our games shown on free-to-air and triple M are anything to go by)?

Probably your imagination. They usually race through the teams and have a chat about each game, maybe a little bit more if one of the panellists is representing one of the teams, also if there's a relevant on-field story/discussion or an exciting match-up.

But at the moment we're a bit crap, ergo there's not much to talk about in that respect.

The Footy Show hasnt been the same for years.. Its mostly a load of total sh*t now.... but I still watch it from time to time.

Simple solution....don't watch it.

Lonmg gave up on it.

Log onto here, read the teams and the intelligent comments (most) posters write about the team balance/Ins/Outs etc

If ten or seven were smart they would put something (anything! up against it) and it would disappear. (re-runs of Gilligan's Island would do it!- even better Get Smart.)

It's too boys club at the moment and the smut level has gone thru the roof since Eddie left as Sam is now running the show.

Watch AFL Teams on Fox Sports if you want some serious analysis on Carlton games - best show to watch for Thursday night team selection - [only if you can afford it].

Last night they did go throught the games in order. The Carlton-Bullies is the 2nd last game of the round

Agreed.. it has gone a bit smutty and boys club since Eddie McChin left (as last nights episode proved to be)...but thats always to be expected from The Footy Show

This year since they lost the rights they really race through the teams and make no mention of when it's being played.

Last year they used to pump up the Friday Night games like you wouldn't believe.
