This is a worry I am starting to think like Pagan - I posted this a couple hours ago All the head lines this week is that we are nearly there we can feel a win coming soon we are being competitive . We are closer to our next flogging than our next weak win Pagan is probably right going by whats happened in recent years

Probably giving the boys a warning that this is a possibility. No harm done if they are kept on their toes. Might give them some extra incentive to make sure this is the one to win, or lull the Dogs into thinking this'll be like shooting fish in a barrel .

I think that Pagan is trying to take some pressure of the guys by saying that after a string of narrow loses only two things are going to happen, we get a win or we lose by alot. If we get a win then the media will sing our praise that after narrow loses we get over the line finally and the rebirth continues, if we lose badly then Pagan will say that we were due for it so why is the media surprised? Behind closed doors all they are trying to do is take some pressure of the kids so that they only have to meet their own expectations rather than the media and general community.

i see no real issue with what he is saying rathe than being a negative, maybe it emphasises to the players that a blowout is a real possibility, hence getting the players to think about this week in a different way "geez i don't want to be involved in a blowout, i am going to need to find a little bit extra this week"

Pratt and the board must be aware of DP's lack of direction? We all paid out Wallace when he said that Richmond will play finals in 2011...well I reckon what DP is saying is worse! It is not good practice to go into war and tell your troops...we gonna get flogged! That is really poor form!
